Job timings: 8 pm to 6 am

Technical Skills:

● Database (MySQL or MS SQL server) general administration – Working knowledge of backups, log file monitoring, replication setup/issue resolution, basic database queries
●  Apache Tomcat/JBOSS – working knowledge of hosting web servers, setting up
●Server setup – installation of OS, web applications (Tomcat), database (MySQL), Caching (Redis/memcache)
● Monitoring tools – experience in atleast 1 application tool chain (ex: JBoss) and 1
database tool chain (MySQL enterprise monitor) in order to monitor application health, database health and take remedial actions
●Security setup – firewall setup/configuration, network configuration/ monitoring and issues resolution
●Cloud servers – working knowledge of new servers setup, SSO services, Cloud services, monitoring and remedial action on cloud environments (ex: AWS, Azure)
●OS environments – working knowledge of Linux based environments (ex: Ubuntu). Usage of basic tools on Linux

Soft skills:

● Teamwork – excellent in teamwork. Able to independently execute tasks and guide junior team members
● Responsibility – independently take up tasks and deliver with high quality. Desire to take up and learn new technologies.
● Communication skills – good in oral and written communication.
● Understands production environment management and has handled critical situations. Ability to respond to critical events 24 X 7.
● SLAs – adhere to defined SLAs. Quick response times. Satisfactory ratings from customer.
